Everton are in the mix to sign Dusan Vlahovic.

Giorgio Chiellini has already confirmed that the Serbia international is leaving Juventus this summer when his contract officially expires at the end of June, and intermediaries have reached out to Everton to check whether there remains any interest.

Everton looked at Vlahovic in 2025 and are believed to be admirers of the striker – although Tutto Juve now claim that Chelsea are the likeliest to secure his signature on a free transfer.

Chelsea set to beat Everton to Dusan Vlahovic

The Italian news outlet believe Chelsea now have the greatest chance of signing the Serbian.

Tutto Juve say the west Londoners are currently “in the front row” to sign Vlahovic, and feel he can improve their “quality, physicality, and finishing ability in attack” should a deal materialise.

The 26-year-old leaves Juventus with 68 goals in 168 appearances under his belt, a respectable record which suggests he would be an improvement on the likes of Liam Delap, for example.

While some Everton fans may be saddened by this news, it increases the chances of Chelsea selling a striker to David Moyes, in our view.

Everton like Delap and are also fans of Nicolas Jackson as the Senegal international returns from a loan spell at Bayern Munich.

With Joao Pedro and Emmanuel Emegha also at the disposal of Xabi Alonso, we feel it is highly likely that Chelsea sell a striker if Vlahovic is to arrive at Stamford Bridge.

So, there could still be a deal for The Friedkin Group to do even if the Serbian ends up at Chelsea.

We would be surprised if Everton fail to sign at least one new striker this summer, following a season where neither Thierno Barry nor Beto managed to assert themselves as the main man – both enjoyed patches of good form throughout the campaign, but Moyes is crying out for a reliable talisman who can deliver regularly.
