Everton have made a number of errors in the transfer market over the last decade.
Perhaps one of them was selling Ademola Lookman as a youngster, as now he’s considered one of the best wingers in Europe at Atletico Madrid.
Everton may have also let Youssef Chermiti leave too soon, as the Portugal under-21 international flourishes in Scotland with Rangers.
How would you feel about Hayden Hackney becoming Everton’s first signing? 🤩
Now, one of Everton’s former academy players has just gone viral on the world stage after scoring a sensational goal against Germany in a warm-up game for the World Cup.

Former Everton youngster Antonee Robinson scores world class goal vs Germany
Everton actually sold Antonee Robinson to Wigan Athletic in 2020, and it’s fair to say, in hindsight, that they made a massive error.
Robinson now plies his trade at Fulham and is considered one of the best left-backs in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old’s stock around the world has just risen dramatically after his wondergoal against Germany.
Robinson, who has been capped 54 times by the US, unleashed a left-footed volley into the top corner, which has since gone completely viral on social media.
Interestingly, Everton did explore a deal to bring back Robinson ahead of the January transfer window, but they decided against meeting Fulham’s £25m price tag.
The Toffees have instead opted to renew Vitalii Mykolenko’s contract, which isn’t exactly the most encouraging decision from Moyes and his chiefs.
Perhaps they will still look to sign another left-back if Adam Aznou leaves on loan, which looks pretty likely.
