Cody Gakpo was spotted back in training with Liverpool ahead of the Merseyside derby this week.
Everton’s fierce rivals posted a photo of the forward to their social media on Thursday, suggesting that he could be fit to face the Toffees tomorrow afternoon.
Gakpo, who is raking in £120,000-per-week since joining Liverpool from PSV in January, had scored the equaliser against Tottenham Hotspur when he picked up an injury and was forced off at half-time.

The Reds were concerned that the Dutchman would be sidelined for the Merseyside derby, however his presence in training this week has hinted that he could be fit to face Everton.
Everton would have been hoping Gakpo wasn’t available for their trip to Anfield, with Jurgen Klopp’s team selection unclear after the international break.
Both Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz have been in South America this week with Uruguay and Colombia respectively, meaning they could also struggle with fitness and jet-lag upon their return.
While Ben Doak, Curtis Jones, Thiago, Stefan Bajcetic and Andy Robertson are all sidelined for the Reds, they will welcome Diogo Jota back from his one-match ban.
Can Everton stop Cody Gakpo?
Meanwhile, Everton’s team will pretty much choose itself after a successful month or so.
Seamus Coleman, Dele Alli and Andre Gomes are Sean Dyche‘s only injury concerns, so it would be surprising to see him make any changes from the line-up that beat Bournemouth last time out.

Cody Gakpo’s return to Liverpool’s team is definitely a blow for Everton, though Mohamed Salah was always going to be their biggest threat anyway.
The likes of James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite will have a huge task on their hands to keep the Egyptian at bay, but the players definitely shouldn’t head to Anfield already accepting defeat.
