There haven’t been many positives to take out of this season, but David Moyes’ turnaround has left the campaign on a good note.

Since the Scotsman’s arrival, Moyes has galvanised Everton, and under the ownership of The Friedkin Group, it looks to be an exciting future.

Martin Keown says Moyes is perfect for Everton, and that has clearly been proven.

Not only has the club had a turnaround, but the toxic environment around the squad has ceased to exist, as players like Jacob O’Brien are flourishing.

But there is one player who has been the shining light this season, staying consistent throughout, and can now emulate Richarlison which is some feat.

Iliman Ndiaye close to feat only Richarlison has done recently at Everton

Iliman Ndiaye will no doubt be a candidate for Everton’s player of the season, and it shows through his brilliant performances in the Premier League this season.

Kevin Thelwell should be praised for the £18m addition, as Ndiaye has proven to be a major success.

The forward has been electric and has shocked Phil Jagielka through Ndiaye’s work rate, but the 25-year-old can finish the season with a flourish.

Ndiaye currently sits on seven Premier League goals, which is a solid season in itself, but the Senegal international will now be targeting double figures, as Richarlison was the last player to achieve this in the league for Everton in 21/22.

Obviously, in recent years, it’s not been the norm, as Romelu Lukaku made it look easy with four double-figured seasons in a row.

With Ndiaye back to full fitness and seven games left, this is certainly doable.

How Ndiaye feels about achieving recent rare feat at Everton

It’s safe to say it’s a rare achievement recently around the club, as it only been done once in the last three seasons, which is standard Everton want to better.

A player like this probably hasn’t been on the scene since Richarlison left, as Seamus Coleman called Ndiaye unbelievable on and off the pitch.

Of course, the dream for Evertonians is that both Richarlison and Ndiaye play alongside each other next season, and could come to fruition as Richarlison is pushing for a Tottenham exit.

Ndiaye is focusing on this season, and speaking in a post-match interview after the 1-1 draw with Arsenal, it’s obvious what his goal is.

He said on hitting that mark: “Yeah, of course, 100 per cent.

“I need to score goals you know to help the team win. As long as I can do that, I’m happy.”

With the likes of Ipswich and Southampton at home to come, Ndiaye will be licking his lips at the thought of ten goals this season.
