Everton target Bilal El Khannouss sends message to Adam Aznou
Everton are showing an interest in Bilal El Khannouss as Moyes looks to sign a creative midfielder this summer.
Leicester City value El Khannouss at in excess of £25m, which would be a feasible deal to do for the cash-rich Toffees.
The 21-year-old actually sent Aznou a message after his Everton announcement, which read: “PL!”. It was accompanied by a love eyes emoji.
It subtly indicates that the Leicester playmaker would love a return to the Premier League, so perhaps his compatriot Aznou can assist in any forthcoming talks.
El Khannouss stats 2024/25
El Khannouss, who joined Leicester from Genk in a £21m deal last summer, registered eight goal involvements last term.
- 36 appearances
- 3 goals
- 5 assists
But, that doesn’t actually paint a fair reflection of how good he was, as according to FotMob, he created a whopping 42 chances in the Premier League.
That shows that in a better side, he would’ve likely got 10-plus assists, so it’d be a real coup if Everton managed to land his signature.
RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, Crystal Palace, Sunderland and Leeds United are keeping tabs on his situation, too.
