Arnaut Danjuma is a name which has been linked all month thus far with departing Goodison Park and now he’s dropped a huge hint.

One player who is looking increasingly likely to depart Everton this season is Arnaut Danjuma. The 26-year-old winger only joined in the summer on loan, but it hasn’t really worked out.

Stuck behind Dwight McNeil, Danjuma has struggled to earn a sustained run in the team which sparked talk of his loan being cut short in January.

Lyon are the club that are pushing to take him off the Toffees’ hands with the French side ‘seduced’ by Danjuma.

The latest report to break regarding Danjuma leaving is from L’Equipe who reports he is now ‘on track’ to depart which would be a concern for Everton – with McNeil out injured right now.

Now, as he edges closer and closer to departure, it seems he’s dropped a major hint on his future. His social media hint was then spotted by Everton supporters.

Arnaut Danjuma drops a hint about his future

Many eagle-eyed Everton fans spotted a potential hint from the Dutchman on his future on Thursday night. Danjuma took to his Instagram account with a post which was cryptic at best, which is why it’s only a potential hint.

In the post, Danjuma looked to be on a private jet which would be an interesting move considering Everton has a huge game on Sunday.

He had a cryptic caption too which appears to be a quote of some kind, “In the grand journey of life, brotherhood is the only chapter.”

Amid the heavy rumours of his departure, he absolutely knows what he’s doing and the conversations that an image like this at this point will spark.

This could be a hint that he has no intention of remaining at Everton, as the Lyon rumours continue to heat up.

Danjuma knows what he’s doing

While it could be that he’s taking a quick trip somewhere, he knows what the timing suggests and another interesting post from January 2023 could be telling.

January 17th 2023 was the last time he posted an image like this one – travelling – and this was as rumours were flying around of a potential loan move.

A week after this, he confirmed he’d moved on loan to Tottenham so this post could be a bigger hint than we thought. We will have to wait and see what happens over the next two weeks of the window.
