Everton outcast Jean-Philippe Gbamin has been offered an escape route from Goodison Park.
According to Spanish publication El Desmarque, La Liga outfit Cadiz are interested in signing Everton midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin.
Gbamin certainly has no future at Everton. Sean Dyche has made it clear that the £75,000-a-week player is on the market.
The 27-year-old himself is desperate to leave Merseyside having seen his career largely grind to a halt following his £25 million move to the club in 2019. The Ivorian has made just eight appearances for the Toffees, in all competitions, as injuries and lack of opportunities have have seen him become a forgotten man at the club.
He did manage to get some game time last season, whilst on loan with Turkish club Trabzonspor. Gbamin was able to rack up 19 Super Lig appearances and will be desperate to build on that following a move away from Everton this summer.
A move to Cadiz would be perfect for the 16-cap Ivory Coast international. He would stand a great chance of establishing himself as a regular starter there, and he will get the opportunity to test himself in the Spanish top flight.

Gbamin part of a wider problem at Everton
Whether Everton can generate any kind of fee for the player remains to be seen. They may just have to cut their losses entirely and allow him to leave on a free transfer in order to facilitate his departure.
Everton will look back on the decision to sign Gbamin and his time at the club as a costly and embarrassing transfer disaster. In truth, there have been far too many big money deals that haven’t worked out for the Toffees in recent years. Their poor recruitment is what has landed the club in their current predicament, battling against a downward spiral that seen them edging closer to relegation season after season. Given the torrid start Dyche’s side have made to the current campaign, this worrying trend shows no sign of abating.
