777βs Sporting director Johannes Spors has been discussing his plans for Everton and pinpointed one player who has impressed him.
Evertonβs takeover situation has been dragging on now but there are now regular updates which should suggest Everton could soon see an outcome.
There have been some concerning updates over the past few days but David Ornstein has calmed nerves
Ornstein wrote during a Q&A on The Athletic: βIndustry rumours abound, Dan, but the noises from Everton and 777 suggest they believe the takeover remains on track. We will, of course, stay across this on The Athletic.β
Now, 777βs Sporting Director Johannes Spors has shared some insight into how he intends to utilise Everton within the group of clubs they own β particularly how it could benefit Evertonβs young and talented players.

Spors makes claim about how Everton can help develop players
Spors was speaking exclusively with The Telegraph and ended up touching on his plans which could see the Goodison Parkβs young players benefit from the 777 links.
He explained that with 777, talented youngsters will have the pathway to spend time on loan in Europe before returning to the club β something that Branthwaite himself did as he was on-loan at PSV.
Spors said: βDeveloping players, we can offer every level of football. Playing in the Premier League is hard as a young player. So in the future, we can help them to give playing time to young players. At the age of 17-18, you just have to play, you have to get minutes. Thatβs honestly one secret behind Red Bull.
βThey let them play very young in the first team and if players need playing time on a lower level they have FC Liefering, Red Bull Salzburgβs second team. A lot of the players that made a great development like (Dayot) Upamecano, Dominik Szoboszlai or Patson Daka, they started in the beginning in that environment and this is something we can offer as well.β
Johannes Spors praises Jarrad Branthwaite
While explaining his views for Everton, Spors continued to name Branthwaite as one player heβs already a fan of.
βEverton can already see the benefit of this with Branthwaite. Heβs a fantastic player. Itβs the combination of his technique, his speed and the way he uses his body, in combination with the mentality and in combination with experience at that age, which he got from going on loan.
βThese are the pillars that are super decisive for a great career and he brings everything. He keeps on pushing, but for where he is in his career, heβs really excellent.β
High praise for the centre-half and he seems to have had a career path that the new Everton owners could look to replicate with other youngsters.
