Isaac Heath is one of the most promising youngsters on Everton’s books.
David Moyes gave Isaac Heath some minutes in pre-season, and he really impressed the Everton manager.
Isaac Heath was rewarded with a new two-year deal and was then sent out on a season-long loan to League Two outfit Accrington Stanley.
The Everton loanee was in action against Barnet yesterday, and manager John Doolan gave his verdict on the young winger.

Accrington manager gives verdict on Everton loanee Isaac Heath
Heath has established himself as a regular starter for Accrington and got off the mark with a goal on his debut against Fleetwood Town last month.
The 20-year-old played the full 90 at Barnet on Saturday afternoon, and Doolan gave a glowing verdict of his performance.
“The opportunities we create…. which is pleasing, you know we’re getting into the areas where we are,” the Accrington manager explained.
“Isaac Heath was unplayable today, and he’s creating chances and he’s giving lads opportunities to put the ball in the back of the net, and we haven’t taken them today.”
Analyst shares what Isaac Heath must improve
Analyst Joe Pearce, writing on Target Scouting, gave his judgment on Heath and shared what he must improve to become a first-teamer for Everton.
“By eye, Isaac stands at around 5’8″, has a narrow frame with a decent level of acceleration, pace, and strong levels of stamina that he consistently shows with runs to attack space with and without the ball,” Pearce wrote.
“He has excellent foot speed, strong agility, a lower centre of gravity, and can adjust and body feint on the ball quite effortlessly, causing many problems for defenders in 1v1 situations.
“Currently, he lacks power and has room to develop physically, needing to become more explosive and stronger in terms of upper-body strength. His current physical standing is easy to manipulate, often coming off second best in shoulder-to-shoulder duels, and despite some attempts to shield the ball with a stiff arm/backing-in technique, he lacks the strength to really stop the tackle.”
Given that Heath is 20, his physicality will naturally improve as he gets older, so that isn’t really a major concern for Moyes and his coaches.
If he continues to flourish at Accrington, it wouldn’t at all be surprising to see him recalled in January and loaned to a higher level, perhaps League One.
