Everton fans are all patiently awaiting any kind of update on their takeover, with things having gone quiet on that front in recent weeks.
After all, it remains the most important thing for the club, to not only ensure that Everton owner Farhad Moshiri is removed from power after a tough and recently absent tenure, but also to allow this new ownership ample time to make any changes they see fit.
Whether it be within the playing staff or even the manager, Dan Friedkin will want to have assumed his position at the very least before the January transfer window.
However, reports on exactly when Evertonians can expect the completion of this deal remain uncertain.
Alan Myers predicts Everton takeover completion date
Fortunately, Alan Myers is on hand to offer his expert opinion, albeit with an informal guess on the completion date rather than anything.
This Sky Sports journalist has earned the favour and unwavering support of the Everton fanbase due to years of fair, unbiased and reliable reporting, with the reporter first to most breaking stories to come out of Goodison Park.

However, on this occasion, he is merely replying to one fearful fan, who sought out an update after it had all gone quiet on the takeover front.
Seeking to offer their verdict, one fan tagged Myers and wrote: ‘Friedkin takeover of Everton 2-3 weeks away from being completed’.
His reply debunked that theory: ‘My guess would be more like 4-6.’
Dan Friedkin will want to be in charge before January transfer window
Whatever happens with this ongoing takeover, the Friedkin Group will at the very least have aspirations of moving into Goodison Park before January.
After all, this is the month that will allow them the biggest scope for widespread change, particularly bolstering the quality of players they have on the field with a fresh injection of cash for Kevin Thelwell to play with.

Sean Dyche’s Everton future remains uncertain, but the likelihood that they would sack him mid-season, especially when he has masterminded a resurgence of sorts, is unlikely.
As such, January will mark a fine balancing act between boosting the squad, but not continuing to form it in Dyche’s image.
After all, reports have suggested that Friedkin wants to appoint Maurizio Sarri at Everton, and he will likely want to bring in a whole host of his own players should he join in the summer.
