Everton are now preparing to return to action following the final international break of the year, with Alan Myers already noticing something ‘unprecedented’ about the start to their 2025/26 campaign.
David Moyes was able to steer the Toffees back to winning ways before the international break, with three points coming against Fulham.
It has been a season of change on Merseyside for Everton in what is their first full campaign under The Friedkin Group.
Moving to the Hill Dickinson Stadium has been perhaps the biggest change for both the fans and players to take in.
How would you rate Everton’s 2025/26 season so far?
However, it has been a solid start on the docks, with other fans also beginning to appreciate the new home of the Blues.
Fulham fans were left wowed by the Hill Dickinson Stadium during their recent trip to Merseyside before the international break.
Everton News columnist Myers has now even claimed that something he’s seen about the new stadium has been completely unprecedented.

Alan Myers hails Everton’s ‘unprecedented’ Hill Dickinson Stadium move
During the recent rugby Ashes Series, one rugby reporter hailed the Hill Dickinson Stadium as better than Old Trafford after recently paying a visit to Merseyside.
It has felt like an almost seamless transition over the summer from Goodison Park into the new state-of-the-art stadium.
Speaking on the Royal Blue podcast, the Everton News columnist shared what he has found so impressive about the move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
“I have to say, I did expect a few problems. I thought this was not going to be easy. I think it’s been brilliant,” said Myers.
“I think the way they have coped with it has been absolutely fantastic, and it is by and large the same people who were at Goodison Park who’ve done it.
“There are more staff at the new stadium because of the size of the place. That is no mean feat, to move to a stadium like that. Absolutely unprecedented. And most of the problems, I know there’ve been some issues in some of the lounges, which have been brought to my attention, but most of the problems are non-Everton problems like traffic.”
Those external issues are being ironed out, with Everton holding stadium meetings with Liverpool City Council to find quick improvements to the local facilities.
What is perhaps even more impressive is the start to life on the docks on the pitch from the players.

Everton fans set for new stadium changes ahead of Newcastle United clash
Following the meeting with Liverpool City Council, there are going to be some changes made surrounding the stadium.
Everton fans have raised some concerns about stadium issues, involving issues like the transport links and insufficient street lighting.
These are problems which the council are continuing to work on, but they have released a statement
Although the public transport will not be a quick fix, Liverpool City Council are working on improved street lighting, but have also warned about new parking restrictions in the surrounding areas.
