Everton will be left really short on the wing at the end of the season.

Jack Grealish and Tyrique George are both due to return to their parent clubs in the summer, although there is hope the former will sign on a permanent deal.

As such, David Moyes and his Everton recruitment chiefs have been drawing up a shortlist of targets.

Millwall’s Femi Azeez is believed to be on Moyes’ radar, as is Stoke City’s Sorba Thomas.

The Toffees are also having a look at another wide player in the Premier League, and he’s highly rated by Alan Shearer and Gary Neville.

Alan Shearer and Gary Neville love Everton target Jarrod Bowen

Everton are showing a strong interest in Jarrod Bowen ahead of the summer transfer window.

With West Ham United on the brink of relegation to the Championship, Bowen could become available.

Alan Shearer and Gary Neville have both been full of praise for the Toffees target previously, with the former labelling him a ‘clinical finisher’.

Shearer stated: “A clinical finisher who has been devastating for a West Ham side who thrive on the counter-attack.”

Neville: “I always think Bowen is a bundle of energy. He is brilliant to watch.”

Jamie Redknapp loves Bowen’s desire to run in behind, which is what Everton lack in Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye, to some extent.

“Jarrod Bowen, when he runs in behind, he’s so difficult to play against. He’s got so much quality, so much pace, and he’s so willing to do this all the time.”

Moyes had a close relationship with his former West Ham talisman, so perhaps he can convince him to make the switch to Merseyside over other interested parties such as Liverpool and Newcastle United.
