Armando Broja is yet to feature for Everton after joining in the summer transfer window, and it appears as if fans are going to have to wait a little longer to see him.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been tasked with leading the line for Everton this season.

The Englishman hasn’t been at his best compared to previous seasons, with just two goals to his name in six appearances.

His contract is up in June, and Everton has accepted the reality that they’ll likely have to let him go for a reduced fee in the January transfer window.

However, the Toffees don’t have the best of options with the inconsistent Beto on the substitutes’ bench.

And, an Albanian journalist has now shared when Everton fans can expect to see Armando Broja.

Armando Broja to stay at Finch Farm during the international break

Armando Broja joined Everton on loan with a £30m option to buy in the summer.

The striker is yet to appear for the Toffees due to an Achilles issue that is yet to resolve itself.

It’s been claimed that Broja could be a secret weapon for Everton once he returns if he can rediscover the form he showed during his time at Southampton.

However, it looks as if it may still be a while before he returns.

According to Albian journalist Klaudio Ndreca, Broja is set to stay at Finch Farm for the next international break.

“The book is in the last phase of recovery. He is not on the October list because even Everton cannot risk him for another national injury at a time they have waited so long for him. We will start activating gradually after our matches, in November comes to.”

What can Armando Broja offer at Everton?

After an injury lay-off Armando Broja will be desperate to prove himself at a new club after struggling to even get a look-in on loan at Fulham last season.

The Albanian international scored nine goals in 38 appearances for the Saints, which doesn’t seem amazing on the surface, but some of the goals he scored were outrageous.

There’s no doubting he has the quality to be a success at Everton, but he does struggle for confidence when things don’t go his way.

With the £30 million obligation already possibly adding pressure on his shoulders, we have to hope that he can find his feet at Goodison Park.
