Everton, ever since Rafael Benitez was appointed really, have become a club consistently embroiled in relegation turmoil.
Frank Lampard was their first saviour, but his long-term credentials were far from requisite, spurring Sean Dyche to enter the Goodison Park hot seat to rescue them again.
Now the longest-serving manager of the Farhad Moshiri era, he is mid-way through the final year of his contract before it is due to expire this summer.
And, two well-respected pundits have now emerged to back the 53-year-old to finish his time on Merseyside successfully.
Ally McCoist & Jeff Stelling make Everton relegation claim
Speaking on talkSPORT just this morning (08/10, 9:38 am), it was Jeff Stelling and Ally McCoist once again united to offer their thoughts on the latest footballing news.
However, with the international break looming, there was little really to go off.

What they did briefly settle on was Everton’s relegation chances, with the latter first noting: ‘I don’t care what anybody says, me personally speaking as a football fan, I would not like to see Everton start next season in a new stadium in anything other than the top flight, I have got to say.’
Stelling would reply: ‘I don’t think many football fans will wish that on Everton, that’s for sure. They just lack a bit of creativity, don’t they, in the middle of the park, although I think Ndiaye gives them a bit down the flank.’
McCoist was keen to offer his own praise for Iliman Ndiaye too: ‘He has looked lively, I have got to say.
‘It was a strong point and they have sorted out, they were giving away goals, uncharacteristic goals, that in normal circumstances they wouldn’t give away. I genuinely think there has been a little bit of turn in form and I do think they will be fine.’
Everton should have more than enough to avoid relegation
With players like Ndiaye recruited, and the squad far stronger than it was last season, the Toffees should be in a strong position to easily survive the drop.
After all, last campaign they finished 14 points above the relegation zone in 15th, and that was with an eight-point deduction as well.
Now, Everton manager Sean Dyche has added players like Tim Iroegbunam, Jesper Lindstrom and Orel Mangala to shore up their attacking and midfield options.
The hope is that, once Dan Friedkin completes his Everton takeover, January can prove profitable and progressive too.

Adding all this alongside the fact that Ipswich Town, Leicester City, Southampton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace are all struggling too, and it paints a really positive picture for a side who lost their opening four Premier League matches.
