Everton midfielder Amadou Onana has been a hit since he completed his move to Goodison Park in the summer of 2022.
The 22-year-old has started 18 matches this season, scoring two goals in the process.
For the most part, Evertonians have warmed to the Belgian international, who has netted some important goals over the past couple of years.

Onana clearly enjoys playing his football on Merseyside, and the midfielder has opened up about what he thinks is “magic” about the club.
Amadou Onana makes ‘magic’ Everton claim
Talking to Everton vlogger StillRyan, Onana revealed that walking out at Goodison Park is a unique experience.
He said: “It’s amazing. It’s magic, yeah. The fans are going nuts. It’s amazing.”
Much has been made of Onana’s future. A player of his ability and age will undoubtedly attract attention.

Some commentators, such as Michael Ball, have claimed he is using the club as a stepping stone.
Writing in his Liverpool Echo column, he said: “It’s up to players like Onana who seemingly want to use Everton as a stepping stone to start showing their ability and prove to the Evertonians why we brought them to the football club by getting the points on the board that we need.”
The likes of Ball need to be careful what they wish for. The Belgian appears to have been a target for criticism in recent months.
He seems completely committed to what Sean Dyche is trying to build, but considering the criticism aimed at him, Onana’s aspirations could soon change. The fact that Manchester United have shown interest demonstrates that Everton have a special player on their hands, who is perhaps slightly inconsistent.
Romelu Lukaku and John Stones were sometimes criticised during their Goodison Park tenures. Let’s not go down the same route with Onana.
He has immense potential; it’s now about displaying his talent more consistently.
