Everton are in for a comfortable end to the season, but it’s going to be a big few weeks for Armando Broja.
Everton are on 35 points in the Premier League and will soon be mathematically safe.
Ipswich Town lost to Wolves at the weekend and are stuck on 20, with Leicester City – who are on 17 – in action against Newcastle United tonight.
David Moyes has done a fine job since returning to Goodison Park.
His one and only objective was to keep Everton in the top-flight ahead of moving to Bramley-Moore Dock, and he has achieved that with ease in the end.
These next few weeks will now be interesting. With Everton safe, there will be opportunities for players on the fringes, and players with something to prove.
Armando Broja falls into this category, and the striker has now sent a defiant message with seven games to go.
Armando Broja tells Everton fans there is 100% more to come from him now

It has been another frustrating season for Broja.
Everton landed him last summer on loan from Chelsea, and the hope was that he would give Everton a bit more threat and bite up top.
However, he missed the first few months of the campaign with an Achilles problem, finally making his first-team debut against Wolves in December.
He then picked up another injury in January, as Everton took on Peterborough United in the FA Cup.
He’s been limited to just nine appearances so far, and minutes have been hard to come by for Broja since his return from injury due to the form of Beto. But the Albanian has now made an exciting promise to Evertonians ahead of the club’s final games this term.
He said (via Everton official): “I feel much better now. I’m happy I can come back on the pitch and play pain-free. That’s all I wanted – to be pain-free, to enjoy my football, play in front of the fans and try to do the best for the team.
“I’m 100 per cent sure, there’s way more to come from me. There’s still the best to come from me. There’s so much more I can do.
“There’s going to be moments where the goals are going to come, assists are going to come, and I’m going to play way better, for sure.”
Opportunity knocks for Broja as Beto hits dry spell
It hasn’t been the loan spell Everton, Broja or the fans were hoping for.
The two injuries that Broja has picked up have really spoiled his season. But there remains a bit of time for him to make his mark and perhaps influence what happens with him this summer.
From what he’s said, he sounds extremely determined to shine in these final games.
He’s missed a lot of football, so that is understandable.

Regular chances are likely to be in the offing for him now, with Everton not under threat of being relegated. Indeed, Moyes has already said he wants to get Broja more involved for Everton.
Moyes does need to give Broja the chance to prove he is worth either buying or loaning in again next season.
Beto has now gone five games without a goal and that make open the door for the star. And it will be on him to take make the most of his opportunities.
