Arnaut Danjuma has posted a promising message to Everton fans.
Taking to Instagram, the Dutchman has addressed the Toffees’ ‘progress’ after they claimed their first point of the campaign.
Danjuma started his second Premier League match for Everton as they played out a 2-2 draw against Sheffield United.
The Toffees found themselves behind at half-time but it was the Villarreal loanee that equalised shortly after with a fine finish following a brilliant ball across by Nathan Patterson.

Danjuma shared his delight in his celebrations and was quick to show his support for the club on Instagram following the game.
Alongside photos of him celebrating his first Premier League goal for Everton, he wrote: “In the grand scheme, progress matters”.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Danjuma’s goal means Everton have now picked up their first point of the new season and scored their first goals too, after losing their opening three games without scoring a goal for the first time in their history.
Plenty of positives to take for Danjuma and the Everton squad
Danjuma is right though, it is certainly progress for Sean Dyche’s side. While they would have been eager to pick up a victory, their performance was a lot more promising and they definitely created the chances they need to make their mark.

The Netherlands international and his attacking partner Beto could prove to be key players for the Toffees this season and will be needed to put the ball in the back of the net when they have struggled so many times.
Danjuma will undoubtedly feature in Everton’s starting line-up when they host Arsenal next week, though he could be having a much quieter afternoon this time round.
Saying that, it was only seven months ago that Dyche took on the Gunners in his first match at Goodison Park and they claimed a shock 1-0 victory over the title challengers.
