Arnaut Danjuma has thanked fans for their support after Everton’s defeat to Aston Villa.
The Dutchman took to his Twitter account to address the Toffees’ fans after a 4-0 thrashing in their first away trip of the campaign.
Danjuma joined Everton on loan from Villarreal this summer but has struggled to get his spell off to a good start after successive defeats for the club.

However, the forward is yet to earn his first start in the Premier League after suffering an injury during pre-season.
Danjuma was limited to less than 20 minutes of action during the loss against Fulham last time out but was given a chance to impress when he was brought onto replace Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the first half.
Despite a horrific defeat in the Midlands, Danjuma was quick to thank the supporters. Taking to Twitter, he wrote: ‘Thanks to all the fans for travelling today. I do not take the support for granted’.

Danjuma’s replies were flooded with messages of further support, with many fans impressed with his display on Sunday afternoon.
Despite the 4-0 hammering, the Netherlands international looked to be one of Everton’s only positives and proved to be a real threat during their very few chances on the attack.

With Calvert-Lewin substituted after suffering a cheekbone injury shortly before half-time, Danjuma could now be handed another opportunity to shine in next week’s clash with Wolves.
The 26-year-old is one of a few attackers that are available for Everton right now, with Calvert-Lewin joining Dwight McNeil, Dele Alli and Jack Harrison on the sidelines, while Dyche has admitted that Youssef Chermiti isn’t quite ready to feature.
