Ever the trailblazers, their Goodison Park Legacy project marks a truly ground-breaking plan which will see the area around the ground revitalised.
Building where Goodison Park stood, the club will be constructing a health zone consisting of numerous well-being centres, a children’s centre, many food and drink outlets as well as affordable housing and office spaces.
It is a project hoping to promote revolution in the area, and alongside the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, Everton are hoping to create up to 15,000 jobs and contribute a £1bn boost to the city’s economy.
At last it is an exciting time to be an Evertonian again, with this new stadium drawing ever-closer as their form steadily increases too.
The club are planning to move into the new arena for the start of the 2025/26 season, making next campaign the final full one at Goodison Park.
