Everton will look to strengthen their pool of attacking options this summer – and Conor Coady is a fan of one Toffees target.

A continued criticism of Everton this season has been the lack of quality from wide areas.

Most of the talk has been about the lack of support in an attacking sense from the full-backs.

Which of these players do you want to see Everton SIGN in 2026?

But Everton wingers aside from Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye have also struggled at times.

Youngsters Tyrique George and Tyler Dibling have struggled to get regular minutes under David Moyes, and it’s not out of the question that both could depart this summer.

And Dwight McNeil, who nearly left the club for Crystal Palace earlier this year, may also move on.

A new forward is reportedly high on the agenda for Everton this summer, and Abdul Fatawu is said to be of interest.

And Fatawu has just been talked up by Conor Coady.

The Overlap put out a new video on Tuesday, which focused on players in the Championship.

The Championship season is over now, so it was an opportunity for fan representatives to have their say.

Former Everton loanee Conor Coady is also in the video – and he mentioned Fatawu as a player he feels is ready to play in the Premier League.

He said of his former Leicester City teammate: “I know Leicester have gone down. I know he’s had a bad second half of the season. But I’ve played with Abdul.

“He’s a very, very good player on his day. I know he was linked with certain clubs previously, so I would probably put him into that bracket (Premier League-ready) as well.

Coady also stated that he feels most of Southampton’s players are also Premier League-level.

In recent weeks, Everton have been linked with both Leo Scienza and Shea Charles, both of whom have stood out for the Saints.

How has Abdul Fatawu fared this season?

As everyone knows, it’s been a horrible season for Leicester City, who were recently relegated and will play in League One in 2026/27.

But Fatawu was something of a shining light, scoring nine goals and making eight assists in 44 appearances.

Goals – 9
Assists – 8

Fatawu has actually already played in the Premier League before with Leicester, making 11 appearances in the 2024/25 season when he was just 20.

He may have dropped down the leagues with Leicester, but Coady clearly feels he’s a top-flight footballer and it’ll be interesting to see if Everton make a move.

One would imagine that would have repercussions for one of Dibling or George.
