Jordan Pickford has proven to be Mr reliable when it comes to Everton as David Moyes will need a plan in place for the keeper if appointed.

Pickford is in his eighth season at Everton and the shot-stopper is now coming up to a decade at Goodison Park.

Many might be worried about the no.1 exiting Everton this summer as Darren Bent believes Pickford will leave Everton if relegated.

Sean Dyche’s exit may have helped the goalkeeper settle as Pickford has been seen to be angry at Dyche in the past.

With Moyes now the new Everton boss, he might have to consider Pickford’s future but it turns out, he may already have a plan in place.

David Moyes’ plan for Jordan Pickford amid plenty of interest

Bayern Munich are seen as admirers of the Everton goalkeeper as the Bundesliga side could be keen on a move for Pickford (as per TBR).

Everton are ready to fend off interest in Pickford from clubs in the Premier League and Serie A as a report stated last month.

Moyes had previously spoken on Pickford’s links to Bayern in 2018 when the goalkeeper had just joined Everton.

In a report from GOAL, Moyes said: “It’s a big club, he’s only just moved and I would say to him it would be stupid to even consider another move if there was to be an option for him.

“I think it will help him being at Everton because he will get enough work and he’s got a chance to develop without every single thing he does being scrutinised.

“At the moment he is a young player who has played very well. But the key to being a top player is going back and performing just as well.”

Pickford has seemingly proven Moyes’ wishes right and if he becomes the next Everton manager, the likelihood is he will keep hold of the 30-year-old.

David Moyes’ warning proved right as Pickford’s form has been superb after staying at Goodison

How many times has Pickford, who joined for 30m, saved Everton now. It is becoming a regular occurrence with his shot-stopping as he has been one of the most in-form keeper in the Premier League for a while now.

With Everton now enduring their fourth relegation battle in a row, he’s been the key cog and the Toffees would definitely be worse off if he wasn’t in-between the sticks.

Luckily for the Toffees, Pickford said he’s content at Everton.

After all he’s done for Everton, the fanbase can’t have too many complaints.
