Everton beat Fulham 3-1 at Craven Cottage on Saturday – and David Moyes was full of praise for Beto after the game.
Everton moved up a place in the Premier League table as a result of the win, with Wolves losing at home to Brighton.
It was actually a poor showing from the Toffees in the first-half.
But after Vitaliy Mykolenko grabbed an equaliser just before half-time, Everton got their act together and took the game to Fulham more in the second-half.
Goals from Michael Keane and then Beto allowed Everton to get back to winning ways.
Beto grabbed his eighth Premier League goal of the season and 10th in all competitions, which is a great return considering his lack of involvement under Sean Dyche. Beto also celebrated by slapping the club badge on his shirt, amid speculation about his future.
And after the game, Moyes heaped praise on the striker talking up one thing about him in particular.

Under Dyche, Beto could not really buy a start for Everton.
He was firmly behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the pecking order at Goodison Park.
That didn’t go down well with fans, with Calvert-Lewin having struggled to score goals.
Beto’s chance eventually came in January, after Dyche had left and when Calvert-Lewin and Armando Broja both picked up injuries.
And he grabbed his opportunity with both hands.
Seven of those 10 goals have come under Moyes, who chose to talk about Beto’s work ethic after yesterday’s game.
He said: “ore to it. He’s a great boy, I’ve got to say. He practises like you wouldn’t believe to try and get better. Which, when you’ve got that, you know then that you’ve got something which is… at least he’s trying to get better.
“He’s incredibly humble. He’s very honest with himself, which gives a manager a great chance to try and improve. I have to say, he’s done great.”
Beto has talked up trying to score 10 Premier League goals by the end of the season, which Moyes is also keen to see from his centre-forward.
Everton should keep Beto unless big offer comes in

Beto is thought to be a target for Leeds United, who’ll be in the Premier League next season after their promotion.
Everton fans are divided about him potentially sealing that transfer.
While he’s been in the goals this calendar year, some still don’t feel that Beto is the answer to the goalscoring issue that still persists.

Despite his haul of seven goals under Moyes, Beto has also squandered a lot of chances, leading some to question whether he can be the clinical, line-leading striker Everton need to get to the next level.
But there is something to be said for his desire and mentality, and it’s clear he loves playing regularly for Everton.
Perhaps it’d be in Everton’s best interests to keep Beto unless the club can make their money back on him.
