Everton return to action on Saturday as they welcome Manchester United to Goodison Park.

The Toffees have been one of the most in-form sides in the Premier League since David Moyes’ arrival in January.

Everton are now well clear of relegation danger, as they reside in 14th place, 13 points above 18th-placed Leicester City.

In fact, they’re a point above Man United, so perhaps for many, they’ll be the favourites in this one, especially with the Goodison crowd providing the 12th man.

Ahead of the clash, we’ve predicted three things that will happen on Saturday afternoon, including a debut.

David Moyes sends big message to Manchester United

Moyes only had nine months at Man United before he was brutally sacked, so since then, the Scotsman has often had a point to prove.

After a successful spell at West Ham, many United fans began to look back at his tenure and believed that maybe it was a far too premature ending.

Now at Everton, after a sensational start, Moyes is going to send another big message to his former club with a 1-0 win at Goodison.

That’ll move his side four points clear of Ruben Amorim’s men.

Martin Sherif makes Everton debut

Martin Sherif has been close to making his debut for a few weeks now, with Moyes naming him on the bench in five out of the last six games.

With the current injuries to Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Armando Broja, the Everton boss has dipped into the under-21s for further reinforcements.

Beto is the only fit and available senior striker at the club, so evidently, the young forward Sherif will get his big break soon.

He could make his debut against United as a late substitute.

Jordan Pickford pulls of wonder save

Jordan Pickford is always riled up for the big games and can often be very theatrical after making a save.

In fact, when Everton played United last season, Pickford pulled off a great stop against Bruno Fernandes and he certainly didn’t hide his emotions.

With the score 1-0, heading into the final 20 minutes, we reckon Pickford could be quite busy and forced into action on Saturday.

The England international will have to make a world class save to get the three points.
