Demarai Gray has signed for Everton, becoming the third arrival of the summer.
He joins Asmir Begovic and Andros Townsend at Goodison Park as the Rafa Benitez revolution gets underway.
All three of the new signings have Premier League experience, although Gray is coming back to England from Bayer Leverkusen.
Gray has been assigned the number 11 shirt and told the club website why he’s so excited about what lies ahead.
“Everything felt right to me to join Everton. I want to push on, be a pivotal player in the squad, and help the team score goals and assist goals. I’m a speedy, tricky winger,” he said.
“I enjoy running with the ball, roaming around the pitch. I like to play anywhere along the front three and I can be dangerous in all areas. With the ability I have and the belief I have in myself, I can add to this team.

“I’m at a stage in my career now where I can put everything together. There are areas of my game where I still want to improve and become better at. I’m excited to kick on.”
“I’ve played with a few of the boys for England Under-21s. Dom’s kicked on massively with his goals and, for me, as a winger, that’s the type of player you want in the box.
“My job is to feed him for him to put the ball in the net.”

Gray has talent but didn’t show the best of it at Leicester or Bayer Leverkusen.
He’s got a great opportunity and he has already acknowledged his role in providing chances for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
But Everton also need him to take on some of the goalscoring burden because they’re short on goal threats.
