Everton fans have come away from the clash with Brentford frustrated at the performance of one player, as two points were dropped at Goodison Park.
The one positive for Everton is that it’s another clean sheet for Jordan Pickford, but there’s a glaring issue that has been made very evident in November.
Sean Dyche‘s side failed to score a goal in the month of November.
Injuries haven’t helped Everton as the likes of Youssef Chermiti and Armando Broja are on the recovery trail.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Beto offered nothing today, which has put even more pressure on those two players returning in the next couple of weeks.
This led to many Everton fans taking to X to unleash their fury on one player in particular.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s performance in numbers against Brentford
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has just two goals to his name in 12 appearances in the Premier League.
The main issue has been his composure in front of goal, as there hasn’t been a shortage of chances.
He played the full 90 minutes against Brentford and it was a similar story. Calvert-Lewin had just 24 touches, a passing accuracy percentage of 60, two shots on target, two shots off target, made one key pass, lost seven duels, lost possession seven times and committed one foul. (SofaScore).
It was almost as if he didn’t want to run or get involved at times, as he always seemed to be where the ball wasn’t, which has been a running theme this season.
Everton fans react to Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s display against Brentford
Everton fans, when speaking on X, are getting fed up with Calvert-Lewin.
“Calvert-Lewin is a joke. Jogging about with a spotless clean kit. Why is he not a 3rd choice striker? Disinterested, running down his contract to go on a free in June.”, @johnmerro1 said.
@rowloefc was fuming: “DCL seems disinterested.”
@Mike_Rogers_86 stated: “DCL was pathetic today. Did nothing. Not interested at all.”
@JACKDEL15 mentioned: “DCL is strolling around trying his best to not get injured.”
“The lad seems to have zero fight about him these days. Broja gets fit and he should get straight in to the side.”, @Richlloyd1984 thinks he’s given up.
@Stylo_____ commented: “DCL should probably be in poor, didn’t want to be too harsh but yeah he was bad.”
