We recently got to enjoy the talented Anthony Gordon get his first Premier League start of the season. Whilst it did not go according to plan for this Evertonian talent there is no doubt better is to come from the youngster.
But when it comes to wondering who might follow in his footsteps as the next breakout star into the Everton first-team there is plenty of choice.
Maybe it’s the strike sensation Ellis Simms, or cultured defender Ryan Astley.
However, a smart bet might be to back the talented Norwegian in Everton’s ranks catching the eye of all those important.

Einar Iversen, a former under-18 captain, has been in fine form for Everton’s under-23s this season.
The 19-year-old joined the School of Science from Stord IL back in 2017 and has since come on leaps and bounds on Merseyside.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
This season has seen the enigmatic central midfielder become an integral part of David Unsworth’s side. Iversen has started every game in PL2 and finally found himself on the scoresheet for the first time this season in Everton’s final game before the winter break against Brighton.
If he can keep up such form then Iversen, who has a contract at Everton until 2022, might be the most likely next break-out star from Unsworth’s lot.
