Everton’s new stadium has provided a long-lasting ray of hope for a fanbase trampled by the realities of top-flight football.
For years now supporters have followed their team, home and away, just to watch the players phone it in and offer minimal effort.
They would survive in dramatic fashion on the penultimate game of the 2021/22 season, before going one step further the following term, beating AFC Bournemouth to only secure safety on the final day.
Sean Dyche was employed to ensure those kinds of high-pressure situations would no longer be a mainstay at Goodison Park, and thus far his work achieving such a goal has been spectacular.
It seems like the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium is at last set to feature football worthy of such an elite arena, with their current stadium seemingly having returned to its fortress-like reputation in recent weeks.
Well, in a seemingly run-of-the-mill update provided by the Everton Stadium’s X account, just weeks after a stunning video was released, there is now one key feature which seems to have been translated from Goodison Park into their new home.
Just the second photo seemingly details that iconic Archibald Leitch design that covers the Old Lady, casting a glorious shadow over the blue seats that have been installed. That same depiction is also subtly seen in the brickwork.
What will Everton’s Bramley-Moore Dock stadium be called?
The naming rights over Everton’s new stadium have been a point of surprising contention in recent months, given the turmoil surrounding their ten-point deduction and the unlikely link the two share.
After all, whilst Farhad Moshiri is the majority owner, it seemed like he leant on Alisher Usmanov for a hefty amount of financial backing.
One example is the sponsorship of Finch Farm, which saw a rebranding in 2017 in a multi-million-pound deal which instead saw it named USM Finch Farm.

Usmanov owns 49% of the firm, which boasts most of its investments in the metal and mining industry.
Well, there was an expectation that they would follow in the footsteps of the training ground, given the £30m exclusivity deal signed back in 2020.
Russia’s war in Ukraine has seen these Oligarch figures slowly ushered out of English football now though, leaving Everton somewhat in the mire.
Therefore, there are currently no plans for a set name for the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium just yet.
