Everton, given the struggles felt both on and off the field in recent years, have had to be laser-focused on ensuring that the important stuff was prioritised.
Things like their ongoing stadium construction, balancing the books and, most importantly, remaining in the Premier League.
Therefore, facets such as sponsorship deals and kit providers have perhaps taken a back seat, with the bulk of the fanbase largely uninterested in the quality of the shirt so long as those wearing it performed.
Well, now that they finally are, attention actually seems to have now turned to who might be the next company to forge Everton’s kits.
With their deal with Hummel set to expire at the conclusion of this campaign, having enjoyed three profitable years in which they did craft some of the nicer kits in recent memory, there has been little suggestion of a renewal.

The Liverpool ECHO has now sought to reveal a new player though, perhaps set to swoop in and snag the Toffees for their ever-growing portfolio.
They write: ‘It is understood by the ECHO, from speaking to industry insiders, that while nothing has been agreed, Castore are expected to be the club’s kit partner from 2024/25.’
How much were Everton paid for their Hummel kit sponsorship?
Having been with Umbro since 2014, the brand had become synonymous with a modern-day Everton that had overseen vast changes, especially in the dugout.
Exercising a clause in their approximately £4m-a-year deal to change provider, 2020 saw them finally make the swap, welcoming Danish brand Hummel.
Since then, whilst they have had some issues over the quality of some products, their attention to detail and ability to pay homage to the club has been lauded.

Not only that, but such a change saw their fee increase dramatically from the last deal, raking in £9m-a-year.
However, such is the disparity between a lower Premier League side and those at the top, around the same time saw Nike strike a £30m-a-year deal with Liverpool. It is yet unknown how much Castore might be offering.
