The Friedkin Group are expected to back David Moyes with funds in the transfer market if the opportunity is right.
Everton CEO Angus Kinnear has insisted that the club won’t be looking to make any quick fixes; they want long-term additions.
It seems as though a winger is on Moyes’ agenda, as Napoli’s Noa Lang has recently been tipped to join the Toffees.
Everton fans, would you back a move for Ethan Nwaneri this month? 🤔
It's been claimed we've taken a look at the Arsenal youngster…
Arsenal’s teenage wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri is also of interest to Moyes, and now there is another wide player being rumoured.
Everton working on a deal to sign Harry Wilson
According to TEAMtalk, Everton are hoping to convince Fulham winger Harry Wilson to return to Merseyside this month.
Wilson came through Liverpool’s academy ranks and made a couple of senior appearances before departing on a permanent deal to Fulham in 2021.
The 28-year-old has been one of the standout performers this term, registering 13 goal involvements for the Cottagers.
How good of a signing would this be for Everton? 👀
Everton are showing an interest…
The Toffees are reportedly trying to beat Leeds United, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest to land Wilson’s signature.
It’s understood that the Wales international is keen on a move back to the North of England, so there is serious legs to this deal.
Marco Silva hasn’t ruled out Harry Wilson exit
Speaking earlier this month, Fulham manager Marco Silva admitted that he doesn’t know if Wilson will stay at the club this month.
“I don’t know if I am going to have him (Wilson) in one week, 15 days, three months or at the end of the season, with good or bad news. I cannot guarantee anything,” Silva explained.
“What I do know, is that he is playing the best football of his career. He is in the best moment of his career and there is no doubt about it.
“We are talking about a very humble player that will not take his foot off the gas and Fulham fans should enjoy the brilliant moment of him.”
If Everton do sign Wilson, it doesn’t look great for Tyler Dibling, who seems to have dropped even further out of favour in recent weeks.
