Everton have made the first strong signing in Thierno Barry, but David Moyes knows his side need so much more.
This has been made very clear as Moyes wants 4-6 more signings, and The Friedkin Group are about to be put to work.
The owners planned to carry out a master plan this window, but so far, there hasn’t been any suggestion of that happening.
With a new era starting on the Bramley-Moore Dock, the hope is that exciting faces can be persuaded.
This possible player would be ambitious, but it would be a revolutionary signing for where Everton want to go.

Everton can sign Arsenal’s Leandro Trossard for just £20m
Yes, it’s highly ambitious, but there is no reason why Everton shouldn’t at least attempt for Arsenal’s Leandro Trossard.
Although he is certainly above Everton’s level right now, the Belgian has the opportunity to become the face of Everton’s new project, and Moyes knows all about the winger.
This claim isn’t just a stab in the dark though, as the 30-year-old comes with a price tag which is affordable for Everton’s £100m budget.
The Guardian reports that Trossard is worth just £20m this summer, with him likely to leave, due to Viktor Gyokeres’ incoming signing.
This will balance out Arsenal’s PSR, and after Moyes tried to sign Trossard at West Ham when he was at Brighton, who’s to say he wouldn’t at least try for a £20m transfer.
Trossard clearly loves the Premier League, and with him not wanting to compete for a place, Everton would be the perfect destination, as Bayern Munich, who are interested, wouldn’t offer him that guarantee of starting.

What former Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta said about Trossard
The Belgian comes with immense talent and has shown that in the Premier League for the last seven seasons.
Trossard has the chance to lead this Everton project and be the man to get the Toffees back to where they want to be, as his journey in the top flight isn’t over yet.
Everton also will want to have the winger at their disposal after he’s haunted them for years at Goodison Park.
Former Everton star and now Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, is a big fan of the winger despite it looking likely his exit will be confirmed.
Speaking in March 2025, Arteta said in a post-match interview: “Trossard, great player. He’s a little magician.
“He can score on any surface, and he’s a big threat; so composed, so cool, he can play in different positions. It’s just a joy to have him in the team.”
With Jack Harrison on the table for Everton, the upgrade in Trossard would be astronomical, and The Friedkins should at least have a go with £20m an absolute bargain.
