Just hours after Moyes admitted Adam Aznou could leave Everton on loan before Monday, Vitaliy Mykolenko has been benched for the game against the Seagulls.
However, the young left-back has still not been given the nod in the starting XI.

Jarrad Branthwaite will start at left-back against Brighton & Hove Albion instead of Aznou, with a back four made up of four centre-backs.
There has been no word on why Mykolenko has been dropped, with a potential injury concern a possibility.
Harrison Armstrong retains spot in Everton’s starting XI
During the game against Leeds, Armstrong was withdrawn at half-time as Moyes made some tactical adjustments.

Armstrong wants to impress at Everton and he has certainly done that so far since returning from his Preston North End loan.
“I certainly won’t make a decision until after Brighton,” Moyes said on Friday.
“We’ll wait and see how things go but he’s not looked out of place in the Premier League. That’s the biggest compliment I could give Harrison, that’s for sure.”
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has now returned to the starting XI, but it is a big statement to see Armstrong retain his spot.
