Everton are just one game away from placing their full attention on the summer transfer window.
Angus Kinnear has landed on Merseyside and he is ready to get to work with plenty of work needing to be done.
David Moyes is expecting to be backed by the Friedkins with the Toffees finally set to spend a significant amount of money.
The foundations are certainly there for Everton to push on this summer following an impressive turnaround under Moyes.
However, money does need to be spent to improve the quality of the squad.
Everton are set to see Michael Keane depart at the end of the season as his contract comes to an end.
Defensive additions are going to be needed and the Toffees are now looking to challenge Aston Villa and Bournemouth for one of their targets.

Everton showing an interest in Nathan Zeze
Ahead of the market opening, Everton are looking to sign a new defender to bolster their options as they prepare for their move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Quality and quantity will be needed on Merseyside during the window but they are going to face competition from some of their Premier League rivals.
According to Ouest-France, Everton are showing an interest in the Nantes centre-back Nathan Zeze.
They are not alone in their interest, though, as Bournemouth and Aston Villa have both thrown their hats in the ring.
This is a defender in high demand with the following clubs from across the continent also monitoring his situation.
- RB Leipzig
- Como
- Inter Milan
Nantes are claimed to have informed Bournemouth their £17m bid has fallen short of the asking price, with a bidding war expected to begin.
Everton have also expressed their interest in David Hancko, but he is also receiving a lot of interest ahead of the summer.
The Toffees have their targets mapped out, but they face some real competition if they are to land the players they want.

Who is Nathan Zeze?
The 19-year-old has made a really bright start to his time in the Nantes side having become a regular starter.

Clearly, the youngster has done enough to catch the attention of those around Europe with some big clubs interested in his services.
Talent scout Jacek Kulig has hailed Zeze as a ‘really impressive’ young talent.
With James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite nailing down the spot at centre-back, Zeze would be unlikely to land on Merseyside as a starter.
This may not work in Everton’s favour with Bournemouth eyeing Zeze as a potential replacement for the Real Madrid-bound Dean Huijsen.
