Everton eye ‘exceptional’ Argentina international, his club could sell for under £30m

Everton are primed for a very busy summer, as The Friedkin Group look to make an impression in their first summer window.

Everton will be playing Premier League football again next season, after David Moyes came in and made a terrific impact at the club.

The Scot quickly guided Everton away from the drop zone, and very soon mathematical safety will be confirmed.

Everton are monitoring Lens defender Facundo Medina

According to Caught Offside, both Newcastle United and Aston Villa are interested in signing RC Lens defender Facundo Medina.

But it’s also claimed Everton have been monitoring the player, who also has interest from European clubs such as Bayer Leverkusen and AS Roma – who, of course, are owned by TFG.

Medina has been with the French outfit since 2020, after transferring from Talleres.

Medina has been practically ever-present for Lens since his arrival, racking up an very impressive 161 appearances already.

That would indicate a level of quality, consistency and also durability.

It is stated by Caught Offside that they intend to sell Medina for €30-35 million (£26-30 million) this summer, as they know feel he has hit peak value.

The French club are looking to ease some of their current financial pressure with the sale.
