An Everton fan group has made a special request to all supporters attending Goodison Park for Sunday’s game against Bournemouth.
Fan group the 1878s have taken to Twitter urging Everton fans to make Goodison Park a ‘sea of blue’ for the crucial relegation clash.
Indeed, for the visit of Gary O’Neil’s side, the group have requested fans wear blue in order to showcase unity and support from the club’s passionate fanbase.

The 1878s tweeted: “Make Goodison a Sea of Blue. We Are Urging All Blues Attending Goodison on Sunday to Wear Blue.
Let the players see and feel the atmosphere & show we’re all behind them. Kick every ball & win every tackle with them. All 4 sides of the ground wearing blue.
Also, bring your flags, banners & let’s get Goodison rocking & give it all we’ve got! Up the Toffees.”

Everton fan mobilisation could be key to survival
Everton fans have showcased their passion for the Blues on a grand scale in recent seasons, with coach greetings outside Goodison Park and Finch Farm.

The 1878s made a similar request for fans travelling to Molyneux last week for Everton’s fixture against Wolves, which ended in a 1-1 draw, as Yerry Mina snatched a late leveller.
