Everton fan group reveal huge Goodison Park plans for Sunday’s game

Everton’s atmosphere has often been a point of contention for the fanbase, given it has understandably faltered in recent years.

Whilst their relegation plight saw a slight upturn, with coach welcomes spurring on historic victories, it does not take much for Goodison Park to turn on its players should they fail to live up to the standards set by teams of old.

All the home crowd wants is a side that gives their all, and under Sean Dyche they have seemingly got that.

So, this Sunday could mark a truly raucous atmosphere, to blend that kind of play style, a big match against Manchester United, and the plans of one fan group together.

Having managed to amass over £30k in fundraising following the news of their ten-point deduction, they have gone about reinvesting that cash in a number of ways.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, they thanked fans for their support, before outlining ‘critical’ plans to hand out thousands of cards branding the Premier League ‘corrupt’. Alongside this will be countless banners displaying similar messages, as well as inspirational ones to inspire the players.

Who will win when Everton play Manchester United?

Although a team they often struggle against, Everton will arguably fail to have a better opportunity to vanquish their fears and steamroll the visitors.

After all, they have lost their last three in all competitions to the Red Devils, and only beaten them once at Goodison Park since 2019.

Despite struggling this campaign under Erik ten Hag, it has astounded many to learn that his side actually sit atop the form table, having won four of their last five in the Premier League, gaining 12 points.

However, just behind them with ten points are the Toffees, who have enjoyed a resurgence of their own, having actually beaten sides with the ease that United could only dream of.

Having scraped past Luton Town, Fulham, Brentford and Sheffield United by just one goal, with their demolition in the Manchester derby sandwiched in between the four fixtures, it has hardly been an emphatic return to form.

Meanwhile, Everton are coming off the back of an inspired away win at Crystal Palace, having blown away both Burnley and AFC Bournemouth by three goals at home.

Dyche will certainly fancy his chances this weekend, backed by what promises to be an emphatic home support.
