The Toffees will be searching for the dream signings this window as The Friedkin Group look to make next season an exciting one.

Everton are hoping that a push for Europe can take place next year after the club has had a wide-ranging rejuvenation under David Moyes.

The signing of Jack Grealish could help this, with him likely to leave Man City, as Grealish joining Everton is ‘plausible’.

They can add to a squad already high in spirits with the introduction of the £100m winger, but time will tell if this comes to fruition.

Aside from the City star though, Everton fans think they’ve spotted their ‘dream’ signing, and could only cost £25m.

Everton see Takefusa Kubo as the ‘dream’ signing after update

A player who definitely ticks the boxes in terms of excitement is Real Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo.

The 24-year-old playmaker is known for not quite making it during his time at Real Madrid, but the Japanese international has certainly proved his doubters wrong.

Now, after a brilliant tenure in Sociedad, Kubo is garnering interest from the Premier League as a £25m valuation has been struck up, according to Florian Plettenberg.

This has piqued Evertonians’ interest as fans over on X think Kubo can fulfil one of Moyes’ priority signings.

Potential Everton target Kubo got Zinedine Zidane’s seal of approval

The quick-footed winger is certainly the type of player that could put Everton back on the map.

His statistics over in Spain this year show that and explain why Kubo is so sought-after.

As mentioned, Kubo enjoyed time at Real Madrid, but most of the time it consisted of loan spells.

This didn’t stop manager Zinedine Zidane from talking about him though, in a press conference in 2020, and he was right to believe in him.

“I think he’s having a good season. He’s playing a lot, and that’s what we all wanted. He is a very interesting player, for the present and the future. I’m happy he’s doing well,” Zidane said.

Moyes is looking for players with ‘character’, and all of Kubo’s character stems from his feet in what could be a superb transfer.
