Everton take on Wolves at Molineux on Tuesday evening in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
For the first time since Carlo Ancelotti was here, Everton can target League Cup success without the backdrop of a potential relegation battle.
For a number of years, the competition has been seen as a distraction, with avoiding relegation the main priority.
But this season, David Moyes will be looking at it as an opportunity to win major silverware and as an avenue to Europe.
Moyes will likely name a strong team tomorrow, and there could be a chance for a very exciting teenager coming through the ranks at Finch Farm.

Everton could get a glimpse of Justin Clarke vs Wolves
Justin Clarke is one of the most exciting teenagers in Everton’s academy and was actually part of the first team’s pre-season.
Clarke really impressed fans in the summer, with his performance against Accrington Stanley convincing many that he’s good enough to play for Moyes’ side.
The 17-year-old has continued that form into under-21s football this season, netting three goals whilst laying on an assist in five outings.
As such, Moyes promoted Clarke to first-team training before the goalless draw against Aston Villa earlier this month.
So, it wouldn’t at all be surprising to see him named on the bench at Molineux and depending on the game state, he could get some minutes.
What type of player is Justin Clarke?
Clarke arrived from Wimbledon this time last year after becoming their youngest ever debutant, aged just 15.
The Everton teenager is a pacey wide player who can operate on either flank and even as a centre-forward.
As evinced by the clip below, Clarke is a powerful runner and has the ability to create and score goals from a number of different areas.
Considering his age, his physicality is impressive, so he seems the most likely to break through into the first team at the moment.
