Everton are going to need to splash the cash again this summer as they continue to strive for progression under The Friedkin Group.
David Moyes was handed nine new signings last summer, but the recent winter window did not offer a great deal for Everton.
A number of players could depart the club this summer, with Michael Keane’s Everton contract set to expire amid his desire to remain on Merseyside.
Aside from potential free agent departures, there is also a need for Everton to bolster their quality, with Moyes yet to see either of his strikers nail down the starting spot.
On the back of the winter window closing last month, Everton fans have been discussing their summer targets over on TalkingPoints.

Everton fans discuss potential summer signings
As Tottenham Hotspur continue to battle for their Premier League status, there is a belief that Richarlison will look to leave Spurs over the summer.
With a potential reunion on the cards for the Brazilian, one Everton fan wrote: ‘He’s the exact type of player who can fit in David’s style of play.’
Another Everton fan added: ‘We should have brought him back in January, an experienced Premier League striker who actually would want to play for Everton and who scores plenty, no brainer.’
A new striker is going to be high up on the agenda for the Blues, with Everton News reporting Moyes’ desire to add a striker in the winter window.
Ivan Toney is a name that a lot of Everton fans would like to see make the move to Merseyside this summer.
One fan said: ‘Give Toney big money to come in and get 15 goals+ for us that’s what we need to make a mark back on league and Europe’.
Another very simply said: ‘Toney every day of the week.’
There are other areas of the pitch that need addressing at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer, though.
Moyes has admitted Everton have been eyeing a new right-back ever since he made a return to the club over 12 months ago.
Which of these players do you want to see Everton SIGN in 2026?
The following names have been suggested by fans on TalkingPoints…
Having seen one assist from Vitalii Mykolenko and Jake O’Brien all season, one reader said: ‘Two wingbacks would transform the team and give a whole new dimension to our play.’
After hearing speculation surrounding Arsenal’s Ben White, one fan replied: ‘Would be a superb signing, like Grealish and KDH.’
Everton have shown an interest in White, who could offer Everton a natural right-back option after O’Brien has spent another season out of position under Moyes.
Now have your say…
European football is still very much a possibility for Everton this season, but securing European qualification would require a lot of improvements over the summer.
The Friedkin Group have provided Moyes their financial backing ahead of what could prove a pivotal summer in the club’s history.
