Everton entered a new dawn last week as The Friedkin Group completed their takeover.
Fans rejoiced as The Friedkin Group finally became Everton’s new owners, with the Farhad Moshiri reign ending after almost nine years.
Everton have been struggling for the past few years and there have also been financial concerns for the club. Of course last season, Everton were hit with two separate points deductions for breaches of PSR.
The Friedkin Group have now acquired the club and fans can expect greater financial stability moving forward.
Sean Dyche spoke at his press conference yesterday ahead of Everton’s game with Manchester City on Boxing Day, and assured supporters there are currently no PSR worries.
Dyche also suggested Everton could be set for a sensible January.
Fans know they’ll have to be patient for real changes to be implemented by The Friedkin Group, but they have already done one significant thing despite having not even been in place for a week.
The Friedkin Group have rescheduled loans with JP Morgan

As reported by football finance expert Kieran Maguire, Everton appear to have rescheduled existing loans with the bank JP Morgan.
The Friedkin Group are said to have a good working relationship with them.

An assured start from TFG
The Friedkin Group’s takeover of Everton has rightly left fans extremely excited for the future, after years of poor decisions by Moshiri.
It’s been a good start from TFG despite their tenure not even being a week old yet.
They have been saying all the right things, with Executive Chairman Marc Watts talking about ‘restoring Everton to its rightful place in the Premier League table’ and leading the new era in the right way ‘both on and off the pitch’ (via Everton official).
It is, of course, going to take time for TFG to implement major changes. Certainly, we’ll be seeing them from next summer onwards.
