Everton are set to go through a great deal of change over the next 12 months.
Everton are about to be taken over by the Friedkin Group, ending Farhad Moshiri’s eight-year reign in charge.
The new ownership will lead the move away from Goodison Park to the new stadium on Bramley Docks and they’re expected to make a number of changes in the board room and in the dugout.
Sporting director Kevin Thelwell is out of contract at the end of the season, so they’ll likely be in the process of identifying his successor.
Meanwhile, Sean Dyche is thought to be under major pressure and could even leave before the summer – when his deal also expires.
With that said, Everton fans are now urging the club to make a double hire after developments away from the club.

Everton fans urge Friedkin Group to hire Dan Ashworth and Graham Potter
After Dan Ashworth’s sudden exit from Manchester United, Everton fans have taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) urging the soon-to-be Everton owners to appoint him, along with Graham Potter who enjoyed a highly successful spell working under the chief at Brighton.
@Tom_FtblScout said: “Ashworth and Potter at Everton. Please don’t fumble Friedkins.”
“Everton having the chance to get Potter and Ashworth working together again has got me unrealistically excited,” @ProducerCai added.
@revelator_blue posted: If Dan Ashworth is now available, that could be very timely for TFG. Would be a real statement bit of recruitment new Everton era!
“Potter and Ashworth to Everton now feels inevitable lol,” @Me2Femmm commented.
@General_EFC said: “Task one – Bring in Dan Ashworth.”
“Ashworth & Potter to Everton…,” @MilkmanDistin simply said.
Everton face competition for Potter from West Ham
If Everton were to approach Potter, they’d likely be faced with competition from West Ham United.
West Ham have been heavily linked with Potter as Julen Lopetegui remains under pressure. The Spaniard has reportedly been given an ultimatum this weekend; he must beat relegation threatened Wolves.
So the former Chelsea boss certainly has attractive options, including Ajax, who remain interested despite being turned down previously.
Ashworth, meanwhile, is sure to garner strong interest in the coming weeks.
