Everton has just learnt the asking price for ‘explosive’ winger who is open to a Goodison move

There is just shy of three weeks left of the summer transfer window, and Everton have been one of the busiest Premier League clubs.

However, despite welcoming five players into Goodison Park, their net spend still remains in the green due to the mouth-watering sale of Amadou Onana alongside minor but equally crucial departures of Lewis Dobbin and Ben Godfrey.

This has allowed Sean Dyche and Kevin Thelwell to tempt Tim Iroegbunam, Iliman Ndiaye and Jake O’Brien to Goodison Park permanently, as well as Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom on loan.

The squad is far stronger than it was when the summer began, but there remains a few key vacancies that could do with filling.

Fortunately, Everton have just been handed a huge boost in their efforts to sign a winger.

Everton have wanted Largie Ramazani for some time now, but there hasn’t been much movement on that front, unfortunately.

Instead, the Toffees have danced around other wide men, first trying to bring in Jaden Philogene before moving on to Yaser Asprilla, Yankuba Minteh and more recently Everton wanted Wilfried Gnonto again.

However, with all of these opting against a move, it leaves them scouring their scouting list in search of another name that might be able to fulfil this role.

Ramazani seems like a perfect fit.

And, as per TEAMtalk journalist Harry Watkinson, the Toffees have been handed a huge boost in their efforts as Almeria’s asking price for the trickster has now been revealed.

He wrote on X: ‘Almeria want £5m-£6m for Largie Ramazani. He is open to joining Everton this summer.’

How good is Largie Ramazani?

Born in Belgium and having risen up through the country’s youth ranks, ironically enough, it was England that first handed Ramazani his emergence into senior football with Manchester United.

Having moved there from Charlton Athletic, much was expected of this 23-year-old sensation, but it was only once he secured a move to Spain that his potential began to emerge.

Last season, he was a mainstay for Almeria, using his 5 foot 6 frame to good effect.

Such size makes him a terror for full-backs to mark, having to deal not only with his blistering pace but also his strength and low centre of gravity.

Football talent scout Jacek Kulig put it best when he outlined Ramazani’s outstanding qualities, branding him an ‘explosive winger’ with ‘electric pace & acceleration’ and ‘superb dribbling skills & close control’.

Not only that, but the analyst also compared him to Vinicius Jr, which should certainly excite Evertonians.

He featured 29 times in La Liga last campaign, scoring three and assisting five.

The future is certainly bright for this young Belgian talent, and his dynamism could be a breath of fresh air for Everton. Given this tiny price tag, and the sell-on value he would surely assure, this is a calculated risk certainly worth making.
