Everton are ready to rival Tottenham for Iling-Junior’s transfer

Samuel Iling-Junior is creating interest from multiple Premier League clubs including Everton and Tottenham as he may now leave Juventus. That is according to TEAMtalk, which reports that the 20-year-old is likely to move sides in January with the Bianconeri mulling cashing in.

Juventus are considering Iling-Junior’s future in Turin as he is highly unlikely to agree to sign a new contract. His current terms expire in June 2025 but Allianz Stadium chiefs would want to get the best fee possible. The attacker is also far down coach Massimiliano Allegri’s order.

Iling-Junior will prioritise his playing time should the versatile Chelsea product leave Turin in January. He quit the Blues to move to Juventus in 2020 but has only amassed 671 minutes in 22 senior games. Most of those outings have been on the left but he can also play centrally.

Aston Villa, Everton, Fulham and Tottenham are all on high alert over Iling-Junior’s potential transfer from Juventus. Each club is also primed to submit their first offer once Juventus set a stance on the England U21 gem’s future. They may yet seek an initial loan deal in January.

Gnonto is now likely to snub Everton and stay at Leeds

Everton have suffered a fresh blow to their interest in securing the transfer of Gnonto from Leeds United. Journalist Ben Jacobs has now reported that the 20-year-old is likely to reject any move away from Elland Road. He is minded to stay in West Yorkshire until next summer.

Gnonto had pushed for a move away from Leeds following their relegation from the Premier League last season. Everton were firmly in the mix for the Italian’s signature, too. But Leeds refused to see him leave as the club sought to secure an immediate return to the top-flight.

Everton submitted multiple offers for Gnonto but Leeds rejected the bids, which reached up to £25m with add-ons, per Sky Sports. The Whites’ stance has since paid dividends with the winger scoring and assisting once in 10 Championship games. Now, he will wait on a switch.
