A new transfer update from German journalist Christian Falk has shared that Everton are definitely interested in signing Bundesliga forward Maximilian Beier.
Everton made some good signings on paper in the summer transfer window like Beto, but are clearly still looking for reinforcements ahead of the January transfer window as they are still involved in the relegation battle.
The latest from journalist Christian Falk has reported that Everton, as well as fellow Premier League side Brentford, have a ‘concrete’ interest in Maximilian Beier. He has also been added to Liverpool’s shortlist.
Apparently Beier has a release clause which is around £17million for German clubs but it will be more expensive for clubs in the Premier League.

Everton interested in signing Bundesliga attacker Maximilian Beier
Maximilian Beier looks like a very exciting prospect and it is no shock to see the German attract lots of interest from the Premier League.
Everton’s first-team squad definitely has some holes in it and although Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been getting back to his best it would be great to bolster the attack with the 20 year-old. The player received very high praise from Hoffenheim coach Pellegrino Matarazzo. He said: “You either have those genes or you don’t, and Maxi has those genes to score goals.”
Despite him still being very young, Beier is currently on top form in the Bundesliga, with four goals in six appearances this season. With such a high ceiling, Beier would no doubt be a player for the present and for the future at Everton.
They definitely face some competition to sign him, but manager Sean Dyche would no doubt relish the thought of the centre-forward joining the Toffees.

It will be interesting to see the next couple of months as we build up to the transfer window as it looks like the owners could potentially change at Everton.
The club have some huge matches coming up and after the loss to Luton at Goodison Park, they need to make sure they get back to winning ways sooner rather than later.
