Everton have now made an offer for Almeria centre-forward El Bilal Toure as the Blues look to strengthen their attacking options.

Indeed, the Toffees have now offered the 21-year-old a five-year deal and are prepared to pay £34m for his signature this summer.

That is according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who took to Twitter to break the news, though he also states that fellow Premier League clubs are interested.

Indeed, Tavolieri states that Fulham, Nottingham Forest and Wolves may be ‘keen to join the fight’, while Serie A side Atalanta also retain an interest.

Everton desperately need recruitment in their attacking options, and will no doubt be disappointed to miss out on Coventry City’s Viktor Gyokeres, who looks set to join Sporting CP.

However, El Bilal Toure could be a very interesting alternative and at just 21-years-old he could be an exciting prospect at Goodison Park.

With seven goals in 21 games for Almeria last season, Toure’s ratio of a goal every three games is an impressive return, with the young player scoring the winner against La Liga champions Barcelona back in February.

El Bilal Toure bid by Everton shows intent from Sean Dyche

It was recently reported in 90MIN that Italian side Atalanta see Toure as a potential replacement for Rasmus Hojlund, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

However, Everton now appear to have taken the initiative with a £34m move for the 21-year-old on a five-year deal.

With Ellis Simms, Demarai Gray and Neal Maupay all linked with Goodison Park exits, the need for striking reinforcements is even more pressing than it already was and Toure could be a great addition to Sean Dyche’s squad.

Indeed, the surprise bid is a massive commitment for a club in a precarious financial position, so El Bilal Toure must be a player Everton really want this summer.
