With little to shout about in recent years, Everton’s sole shining light has been their new stadium. Fortunately, with each passing day, it seems to grow a little bit more spectacular in ways fans could not even begin to imagine.
Just as the scale has been shown from the inside, outlining the steepness of the build to increase the intimidation factor, the ever-growing roof only adds to the spectacle as they have begun adding some aesthetic touches to the outside.
Although Goodison Park will be sorely missed, there is a sense of hope and excitement that the Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium brings that is unmatched by any new manager or transfer saga.
A shiny new home for future Evertonians will hope to be bright and full of success, even the media have started to take note of the marvel being assembled by the Mersey, with a new update just days after the last.
Journalist Alan Myers even detailed his love for the latest progress on Twitter, with a couple of heart eyes emojis in response to the following update from the Everton Stadium account.
The video, which details ‘The jaw-dropping scale of the steep-tiered south stand’, showcases the immense scale of just one stand of the new arena.
When will Everton move into their new stadium?
As a notion offering much debate, as to when fans should move into the new ground, the actual build is expected to be completed in 2024.
That ambiguous suggestion is what has sparked questions over the official move-in date, which could well be mid-season during the 2024/25 term.
Should the stadium not be completed in time for that campaign, Everton have actually opened talks over what might be the best option for the club and the fans.
Naturally, a proper send-off for Goodison feels like a must, given it is one of England’s most historic football grounds. Therefore, a mid-season move could be snubbed over fears such a spectacle might get lost in the hustle and bustle of a Premier League season.

It is a truly difficult decision, but one which will ultimately be forgotten with time as fans rush to secure their seat in what is sure to be one of the country’s finest footballing grounds.
