Everton are looking to see if they can do any business this month, and the club are one of several showing interest in an English striker.
A new striker is something many fans want to see following the struggles of Beto and Thierno Barry this season.
The pair have scored just five Premier League goals between them so far this season, and both players have come in for criticism from fans.
Name your Everton signing out of these strikers… 💥
Have we missed anyone out? 🤔
If Everton are to secure European football, a striker who can score at least semi-regularly will be paramount.
Currently neither Barry nor Beto are doing that – and Everton are in the market for reinforcements up top.
And it has been claimed that the Toffees are ready to look at making a move to ring Tammy Abraham back to England.

Everton one of six clubs eyeing Tammy Abraham

Abraham left the Premier League in 2021, joining AS Roma from Chelsea in a deal worth around £34 million.
It’s been an interesting spell for Abraham over in Italy, although in recent times the 28-year-old has struggled.
Last term he was on loan at AC Milan, for whom he scored 10 goals in 44 appearances. And this season, he’s with Besiktas. He’s fared better with the Turkish giants, scoring 12 goals in 24 appearances.
Since he hasn’t played for his parent club Roma this season, Abraham would be able to move to another club on loan this January.
But it seems a fresh loan isn’t an option.
A number of Premier League clubs are keen to make a move this month, with Aston Villa seemingly the most interested.
Everton are reportedly one of six PL clubs interested in Tammy Abraham 👀
What do you make of this link, Everton fans? Would he be an upgrade on Barry or Beto? 🤔
But Everton, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Sunderland and Leeds United are also linked.
Besiktas do have the option to turn his move permanent at the end of the season. So if Abraham is to sign for a new club this month, they will need compensating.
Abraham is said to believe he ‘could yet make a surprise Premier League return as he looks to force his way back into the England squad ahead of the World Cup’.
It’s not the first time Everton have been linked with Abraham, with Moyes reportedly having considered a move last summer.
Abraham could be a Beto upgrade
Everton looking at Abraham is intriguing, because he looks to be in a better way at the moment after injury problems.
Of course, he has spent time in the Premier League before, scoring 26 goals in 89 appearances in the competition.
Abraham does have a similar physical profile to Everton’s current two strikers Barry and Beto.

But the fact he has experience of the Premier League is good, and there’s an argument to say that he would be an upgrade on Beto, who has scored just 13 Premier League goals since joining Everton in the summer of 2023.
But with how many clubs are looking at him – and the interest of his former club Villa is perhaps not ideal – it could be a slog for Everton to get this particular deal done.
