Arne Slot has confirmed that Liverpool are set to be without three players for their clash with Everton on Saturday.
The Merseyside derby always promises to be a fascinating encounter.
Last time out it was Everton who secured the bragging rights, winning 2-0 at Goodison Park to help put an end to Liverpool’s title hopes.
However, this time round the feeling is a lot different due to the current situation at the club, with plenty of concern around Sean Dyche.
Everton fans called for Dyche to be sacked after the Manchester United loss, but it doesn’t look as if he will be until the Friedkin Group take over at least.
Nevertheless, Liverpool have some issues of their own ahead of the Merseyside derby, with Arne Slot confirming three players are set to miss the clash.

Ibrahima Konate, Kostas Tsimikas and Conor Bradley all to miss the Merseyside derby
Everton have some injury with James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam, whilst Youssef Chermiti and Armando Broja are building up fitness.
And there’s still a game to come against Wolverhampton Wanderers in between.

One thing that is confirmed for Liverpool is that they’ll be without three players for the Everton clash.
Arne Slot has confirmed Ibrahima Konate, Kostas Tsimikas and Conor Bradley are all out.
Controversial moment involving Ibrahima Konate in 2023
Ibrahima Konate was involved in a controversial incident at Anfield back in 2023 in the Merseyside derby.
Ashley Young was sent off for two separate fouls on Luis Diaz in the first half but Ibrahima Konate, already on a yellow card for a foul on Amadou Onana, was not punished for holding back Beto.
Virgil van Dijk even admitted that Liverpool got lucky.
Let’s hope that this time round there are no dodgy decisions.
