Everton will be looking to strengthen considerably this summer, regardless of whether the club have secured European football or not.
Everton still have a chance to play in a European competition next term, being just three points off sixth place.
But it will take a big effort, and Manchester City are up next for the Toffees.
Which of these players do you want to see Everton SIGN in 2026?
The following names have been suggested by fans on TalkingPoints…
Even if Everton fall just short, the club will look to strengthen in several positions this summer – and a new midfielder is thought to be on the cards.
And Everton have now been credited with a midfielder from Italy.
But it surely isn’t good news for Harrison Armstrong.
Everton join race for Youssouf Fofana

It’s been reported by Calciomercato that Everton have now joined the race for AC Milan midfielder Youssouf Fofana.
It seems there will be big chances at Milan this summer – and several could be made available for transfer.
Fofana is one such player. Max Allegri would keep hold of him, but an offer of £21.5 million could see Milan consider a sale.
He is also admired by Lyon, Marseille and Galatasaray.
Fofana, who has 25 caps for France, has become a bit less prominent in Milan’s starting XI in the second half of the season, having been indispensable in the first.
Everton may now look to get involved – but that may not be good news for Harrison Armstrong.
Youssouf Fofana to Everton wouldn’t help Harrison Armstrong’s situation

Fofana is a midfielder who excels at ball-carrying, and his energy makes him best suited to playing as a number eight.
In his own words, Fofana said in a video on the AC Milan YouTube channel: “I am a player who likes to bring dynamism. I like to change pace in the defensive and especially in the offensive phase.”
Surely then, this interest in Fofana doesn’t bode so well for Harrison Armstrong, who has seen his minutes complete dry up in recent weeks for Everton.
Armstrong has played in a variety of different positions already for Everton under David Moyes, but arguably he’s most effective when he can take the ball in a central area and stride forward with it.
How would you rate Harrison Armstrong’s season at Everton? 🫣
He’s got a lot of energy, and uses his tall frame well when it comes to dribbling with the ball, often showing really good balance.
Any move for Fofana could well make Armstrong’s life even more difficult in terms of playing regularly again.
If it does happen, then surely Everton will look to get him out on loan somewhere, unless maybe Tim Iroegbunam and Charly Alcaraz both move on.
