Everton return to action on Monday evening with three huge points at stake against Manchester City.

The Toffees are running out of games to secure European qualification following a run of three games without victory.

David Moyes has seen his side slip down to 11th in the Premier League table, but Everton are still very much in the mix for the European spots.

How would you have the side lined up if you were David Moyes? 🤩

Let's hope Beto is ready to go on Monday! 🤕

Improvements are going to be needed over the coming weeks, though, with perhaps the toughest test of the lot coming up on Monday against Pep Guardiola’s title-chasers.

Everton hope Beto can return for Man City

Beto has returned to Everton training this week following the concussion he suffered against Liverpool.

The 28-year-old striker was a major miss for the Blues at the weekend against West Ham, with Thierno Barry failing to replicate Beto’s goalscoring form.

Moyes should confirm on Friday as to whether Beto will be eligible to return for Monday night as he works against the strict concussion protocol.

Barry is expected to undergo surgery in the summer as he continues to struggle with a long-term shoulder issue.

Although it must be noted that Braiden Graham was called up to Everton training on Thursday, he remains an unlikely addition to the matchday squad.

David Moyes must drop Dwight McNeil

There can be no two ways about it: Dwight McNeil must be dropped by Everton for Monday.

McNeil surprised a number of supporters with some promising performances on the back of his failed transfer to Crystal Palace.

However, those performances have not returned goal contributions and he has failed to impress this side of the international break.

It is time for Tyrique George or Tyler Dibling to come into the starting XI.

George is said to be enjoying life at Everton, but he is not being handed a real opportunity to showcase why the Blues should buy him in the summer.

Everton fans know exactly what to expect from Moyes, but he cannot keep putting out the same starting XI and expecting different results.

Predicted XI: Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko; Garner, Gueye; Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall, George; Beto.
