Everton had to settle for another point despite taking the lead twice against Crystal Palace.
Beto put the Blues back into the lead in the second-half following James Tarkowski’s opener early on.
However, goals from Ismaila Sarr and Jean-Philippe Mateta prevented the three points heading to Merseyside.
David Moyes will be well aware of just how big of a blow more dropped points could prove in the hopes of European qualification.
Which Everton player frustrated you the most against Crystal Palace? 😬
Everton are now six points adrift of Bournemouth, who end the weekend sat in sixth spot.

Jordan Pickford – 8
A sensational save from a powerful Chris Richards effort to keep Everton in the lead inside the opening 20 minutes.
Has that just ended Everton’s hopes of European qualification? 😫
More points dropped by the Blues… 😡
Jake O’Brien – 5
Did not get forward much, with Merlin Rohl running the channel.
James Tarkowski – 7
Tarkowski blamed himself for Everton’s recent dropped points, but he certainly made up for it with a neat finish to open the scoring.
The defender also provided the assist for Beto’s goal. However, it was not good enough from Everton’s defence as a whole.
Michael Keane – 4
Failure to properly clear Sarr’s first attempt came back to bite Michael Keane. Played his role in Palace’s second, too.
Vitalii Mykolenko – 6
After Monday’s frustrations, it was good to see a tactical foul from Vitalii Mykolenko to stop a Crystal Palace attack. A yellow card that Moyes would have been satisfied with.
James Garner – 7
Plenty of effort from James Garner. Not always polished, but you cannot deny his efforts.
Tim Iroegbunam – 6
Neat and tidy for large parts of the game. Had an effort from the edge of the box that almost went out for a throw-in, though.
Merlin Rohl – 7
Rewarded for Monday’s performance with another start on the right-wing. Solid work rate from the German, who enjoyed a little bit more action in the second 45 minutes.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 4
Missed a real opportunity to double Everton’s lead inside the opening 20 minutes. After making room for himself inside the box, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was unable to beat Dean Henderson.
Another chance went begging in the second-half. He’s been excellent this season, but Dewsbury-Hall was so wasteful in south London.
Iliman Ndiaye – 4
Iliman Ndiaye has not looked his usual self for a number of weeks now. Ineffective throughout most of the game.
Beto – 8
What a goal from Beto. After failing to score on Monday night, the 28-year-old pulled out a stunning goal to kick off the second-half in style.
Did not deserve to be replaced.
Substitutions
Thierno Barry – 3
Offered nothing after replacing Beto.
Tyrique George – N/A
